Government & Infrastructure Manager, focusing on Capital Project Delivery. Location: Dublin 2, hybrid working model. Grade: Manager. Contract type: Perm.

Responsibilities
* Working in teams in a hybrid environment across diverse and complex government and private sector infrastructure and capital project client engagements.
* Utilising capital projects delivery experience to assist clients through support and advisory services.
* Analyzing project and programme controls, policies and procedures; presenting key findings and recommendations to clients succinctly.
* Presenting reports in MS PowerPoint in concise, clear formats.
* Contributing to multiple major capital project engagements for different clients simultaneously.
* Potential to be seconded into client firms to assist during high-output project phases.
* Collaborating with team members and client managers to meet agreed deliverable milestones.
* Managing day-to-day relationships with key client contacts, ensuring responsive service.
* Managing the use and development of tools and methodologies across the team and within projects.
* Learning and developing project control skills through close collaboration with more experienced colleagues.
* Engaging with global teams to leverage experience, resources, and capabilities.
* Ensuring KPMG's quality and risk management procedures are followed to the appropriate standard.
* Ensuring deliverables meet high quality standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
* Applying innovative and creative techniques to solve complex client challenges.

Qualifications and Skills
* A deep interest in infrastructure and major capital projects.
* A third-level degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Maths, Physics, Economics, or related subjects.
* At least 5 years’ experience, preferably in a Capital Project commercial or delivery environment, with understanding of project lifecycle processes; experience in a client or consultant setting is acceptable.
* Experience in business change programmes either internally or as an external consultant or adviser.
* Experience or interest in sectors such as Transport, Utilities, Digital infrastructure (Data Centres, Telecoms), Oil & Gas, Aerospace, Defence, Commercial Property/Estates, or Utilities.
* Reliable understanding of issues impacting project performance; strong commercial awareness and appreciation of project and programme delivery.
* Developing specialism in areas such as project management, major project procurement, cost, schedule or risk, or change control on major programmes.
* Awareness of risk management protocols including mitigation strategies and pricing risk reserves on capital programmes and projects.
* Experience planning and scheduling projects and monitoring progress through delivery stages.
* Awareness of regulatory requirements in industries such as transport, water, and energy.
* Ability to manage time across multiple engagements to meet client deliverables.
* Numerate with strong analytical skills; clear written and oral communication.
* Willingness to apply yourself to a broad range of challenges and learn in a supportive environment.
* Ability to develop strong working relationships and collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams.
* Experience with tools/software such as MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Project), Cubit, CostX, PriMus Takeoff, Bluebeam or equivalents, BIM; Oracle Primavera (P6), Power BI, and Digital Twins would be advantageous.
