Electronics Validation Specialist
This lab-based engineering role involves rigorous validation of both hardware and software components to ensure new IoT and life-safety devices meet high performance, safety, and compliance standards before release to market.
As an Electronics Validation Specialist, you will support cross-functional teams by performing end-to-end validation of electronic and IoT-based products. This includes RF modules, gateways, apps, and cloud systems.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in hands-on electronics testing and is passionate about product quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with design teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Key responsibilities include:
* Performing end-to-end validation of electronic and IoT-based products
* Assembling prototypes and carrying out key tests including ESD, surge, and transient testing
* Collaborating with design teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
* Creating and executing test plans, documenting test results, and generating clear technical reports
* Supporting internal QA processes and contributing to technical documentation
Required skills and qualifications include:
* 2+ years' hands-on experience validating electronic products (hardware/software), ideally in IoT, safety-critical or consumer electronics
* Strong understanding of electronics principles with the ability to read and interpret schematics
* Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators)
* Skilled in soldering and rework, including surface-mount components
* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and task management skills
* Qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
