Job Title: Bartender / Barman Location: The Blue Light-Busy Pub with Indoor & Outdoor Service Reports To: Bar Manager / Duty Manager Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Bartender to join our team in a busy pub environment that offers both indoor and outdoor service and regularly hosts live music events.
The successful candidate will have approximately two years of bartending experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
This role involves serving drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area, coordinating with floor staff to clear tables and glasses, and assisting with general pub operations.

Provide friendly, professional service to customers at the bar and throughout the venue.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, indoor seating areas, and outdoor spaces.
Regularly clear empty glasses from tables or direct floor staff to ensure tables remain tidy and ready for guests.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming pub environment at all times.
Take in and store deliveries as requested by management, ensuring stock is handled correctly.
Monitor stock levels behind the bar and inform management when items are running low.
Support the smooth running of live music nights and busy service periods.
Follow all licensing regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
Work collaboratively with other bar and floor staff to ensure efficient service.
Opening and closing as and when necessary.
Requirements: Minimum2 years experienceworking behind a busy bar or in a similar hospitality environment.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work quickly and remain organised during busy periods.
Positive attitude and professional manner with customers and colleagues.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and during live events.
Ability to lift and move kegs, crates, and deliveries when required.
Own transport required.
Desirable: Experience working in venues withlive music or events.
Knowledge of draught systems, cocktails, and general bar operations.
