Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality care and assistance to residents according to their individual care plans and instructions from Centre Management.
* Ensure that care practices reflect the principles of the National Standards of Residential Child Care, including dignity, privacy, choice, safety, realizing potential, and equality and diversity.
* Notify the Social Care Manager of any changes in the young people's needs.
* Support young people in accessing information in appropriate formats to enable informed decision-making.
* Implement and monitor young people's care and placement plans through practice.
* Promote safety awareness among young people and staff.
* Coordinate with the Social Care Manager, Deputy, and staff regarding centre matters.
* Maintain high standards of work practice.
* Follow all policies and procedures of the organization.
* Participate in relevant training sessions.
* Take responsibility for personal and professional development.
* Attend and contribute to professional supervision sessions.
* Collaborate effectively with family members and other professionals.
* Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by line or senior management.
Qualifications
* Minimum Level 7 qualification in Applied Social Care or related fields such as Nursing, Psychology, Teaching, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Social Work, Social Sciences, or Youth and Community Work.
* Thorough knowledge of social care principles and practices.
* Valid full driving license.
* Current or ongoing qualification recognized by CORU in Social Care.
