We provide a wide range of services including Day, Residential and Respite supports to both children and adults in various locations across Dublin, Limerick and North Tipperary.
Avista is looking for candidates who are committed to supporting people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families, in a person-centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our core values and ethos and underpinned by quality, best practice and research.

SOCIAL CARE LEADER
RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, ST ANNE'S
NORTH TIPPERARY/SOUTH OFFALY
PERMANENT, FULL TIME CONTRACT (39HPW)
*Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work.

QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considered eligible for CORU registration.
Up to date CORU registration or Confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU.
Recognised management qualification FETAC/QQ1 Level 6 or equivalent- completed or to be enrolled in a recognised management course.
Full clean driving licence for manual vehicles and access to own vehicle.
Minium of three years' experience in a relative sector.
Experience working within the area of intellectual Disability.
Proficiency in the English language.
QQI Level 8 is desirable but applicants with level 7 degree who have relevant experience will be considered.
The award must be considered eligible for CORU registration
Have experience of Person Centred planning.
Have a detailed knowledge of the HIQA standards / regulations and Health Act ****, and the role of the person in charge.
Desire to support people to live their best lives.
Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
Applicants should possess Level 2 behavioural competencies of Avista competency framework.
