Role Overview
The Leisure Attendant works across various areas of the leisure centre, adapting to your training and qualifications. This is a versatile role that requires a true all‑rounder. If you hold Swim Teaching, Lifeguarding, or Fitness qualifications and are eager to learn and grow, this is the role for you.
Responsibilities
* Display commitment to Aura’s vision, purpose and values.
* Ensure a fun and inclusive environment for all customers.
* Maintain a high standard of customer service.
* Deliver the highest standards of classes (Swim, Fitness or both) that motivate and inspire members.
* Provide constructive feedback to help members develop and achieve goals.
* Adhere to healthy and safety policies and procedures at all times.
* Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Act as an Aura ambassador, representing the company professionally.
Qualifications
* RLSS Pool Lifeguard or IWS Pool Lifeguard qualification. Either one or both of:
o STA, IWS or SI Swim Teacher qualifications.
o NCEHS / NCEF Fitness Instructor qualification.
* Passion for the health and fitness industry.
* Willingness to train and qualify in all three disciplines listed above.
* Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping people.
* Previous experience in instructing Swim, Fitness or both classes is desirable.
* Flexible to work morning, afternoon and night shifts, weekdays and weekends.
* Fluent in English.
