Job Title: Strategic Procurement Leader
About the Role:
The Strategic Procurement Leader is responsible for driving plant procurement goals and metrics by leading a team of professionals. Key responsibilities include Direct Material Productivity, Preferred Supplier Program, Supplier Rationalization, Risk Management, Cash Flow, Inflation/Deflation, Quality, Supplier Control, Supplier On-Time Delivery, and NPD Platform releases.
Main Responsibilities:
* Mentor and develop the Procurement Team across sites to achieve business objectives.
* Develop accurate forecasting and reporting of procurement financial metrics, including productivity and inflation.
* Support the development of Annual Operating Plans for Direct Material productivity projects, targets, and initiatives.
* Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, and Materials teams to meet AOP Targets on Direct Material Productivity and Cash Flow.
* Monitor and mitigate supplier risk, including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance.
* Evaluate alignment of commodity strategies with Business Unit, Engineering platforms, and Product Management plans and requirements.
* Participate in site Risks and Opportunities reviews and provide input into regional financial actuals and monthly Direct Product Cost review.
* Engage in Product Growth Teams across the region to drive business growth.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, along with 10+ years' experience in procurement. Strong financial acumen, exceptional leadership and mentorship experience, and strategic thinking skills are also essential.
