HV/MV Project Manager – CorkDue to continued growth, our client, a leading construction company operating in Ireland, the UK, and internationally, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their expanding team inCork.Role:Lead engineering activities for the design, development, and delivery of HV substation and grid connection projects.Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure technical compliance.Support procurement by preparing technical scopes of work and evaluating vendor proposals.Provide technical guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, EN, and other applicable standards and regulatory requirements.Lead and mentor a team of engineers throughout the project life cycle.Identify and address resourcing needs for current and upcoming projects.Proactively assess and communicate project risks throughout all stages.Collaborate with the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) function on all project-related matters.Requirements:Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering3+ years' experience in electrical engineering design and/or project managementIn-depth knowledge of HV and MV network requirements in industrial settings, with a focus on resilience and system studiesExperience with energy management systems and integration of automated control systems into electrical networksProven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required standardsSkilled in managing multiple projects concurrentlyDemonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others.Salary & Benefits:Salary: €85k - €100k DOE.Company van, fuel card, tablet, laptop, and mobile.25 days annual leave, maternity benefit, flexible working, and sick pay (post-probation).Career progression opportunities within a growing company.Pension schemeHealth insurance discount and life assurance payment.To apply or discuss this opportunity confidentially, please send your CV to Oisin O Donohoe at or contact GPC, a specialist construction recruitment consultancy based in Dublin with 24 years' experience, will not share your CV without prior discussion and consent
