SUMMARY
Smart Electronics is a rapidly growing Contract Electronics Manufacturer based in Shannon, Co. Clare and we are looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Materials team.
This role reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
The Warehouse Operator will join a team responsible for efficiently managing inventory of electronic and mechanical components plus subassemblies, finished product and consumables.
We are looking for a committed and hardworking person with a positive "can do" attitude to join our materials team in a fast paced working environment.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Goods Inwards - check and verify incoming goods prior to system receipt
· Locate all stock correctly
· Picking works order kits for production & Issuing of parts
· Carry out daily ABC stock taking exercises to maintain optimum stock accuracy
· Deal with queries from production staff
· Monitor and maintain stock levels of consumable items
· Follow company processes and procedures
· Responsibility for dispatch and shipping functions
· Understand your departments action plans and targets set out by your manager
. Local van deliveries and movement of stock between sites
· Any other related duties as required
EXPERIENCE
· Previous Stores experience in a manufacturing environment desired, however full
training is provided
· Knowledge of integrated computer systems required
· Manual handling experience essential
· Understanding of Health & Safety practices
· Fluency in written and spoken English required
. Forklift Licence would be advantageous
. Full Clean Driving Licence is a must have
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
· Strong teamwork background, customer focused and driven
· Excellent I.T. skills including Microsoft suite and ERP systems required
· Good numerical skills & strong attention to detail
· Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling
· Quality focused to ensure highest level of accuracy on all assigned processes
· Flexible and available for overtime to support business needs
