Position Summary
Reporting to our Test Manager, the Automation Test Engineer focuses on creating and implementing automation test solutions. This role concentrates on continuous automation improvement and drives high‑quality delivery. The ideal candidate is passionate about testing, automation, and solution delivery. They are a strong team player, problem solver, thrive in a dynamic environment, and are eager to implement change.
Primary Responsibilities
* Participate in sprint planning sessions, review use cases and provide automation solutions and estimates.
* Analyze product requirements and create manual/automation test coverage.
* Execute, troubleshoot, and maintain existing automation test suites.
* Report product issues, analyze bugs, and conduct complete investigations to resolution.
* Contribute ideas and solutions for continuous improvement of the automation framework.
* Configure test environment for automation execution, including data management.
* Work as part of the scrum team, contributing ideas and improvements.
* Analyze, communicate, and report test findings.
* Work closely with scrum teams and product owners to provide excellent testing coverage.
* Work as part of the automation team to ensure consistent standards and audit compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
* Computer Science Degree or equivalent with C#/Java coding skills.
* Experience automating front‑end and API tests.
* Experience testing web and mobile applications.
* Experience using test automation tools such as Selenium, SpecFlow, Azure Pipelines.
* Experience using test case management and defect tracking tools.
* Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High level of attention to detail and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
Nice to Haves
* Experience working within a CSV/CSA environment.
* Experience with automation reporting tools.
