Design Organisation OverviewEirtech Aviation Services offer design and certification in Engineering and Project Management services to international airlines, private operators and aviation leasing companies. Our Part 21J Design office provides certification packages for structures, interiors and avionics modifications and/or repairs on multiple aircraft types to cover a diverse range of drawing packages from basic to complex fleet branding. We can fulfill all operational and mandatory requirements, we hold Part 21 Design Approvals from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) to cover avionics, interior and airframe.Our engineering team have extensive knowledge and expertise in both EASA and FAA regulatory and operational requirements, and we are perfectly positioned to offer tailor-made engineering solutions and material/kit support to facilitate most requirements.Our DOA team has grown aggressively in recent years and will be a fun and stimulating place to work for any successful candidates.Please refer to for more information on the Design Organisation.Position OverviewThis role is responsible for the design and review of design changes and repairs based on EASA Part 21 regulations within the scope of the Eirtech Aviation DOA (and associated terms of approval) with the goal of meeting our customer's expectations by producing a high-quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Disciplines include avionics, structures and/or cabin safety.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation and development of design solutions and associated documentation.Initial review and check of designs and changes for regulatory compliance.Liaison with customers, suppliers and OEM's, to include onsite visits for aircraft inspection and design validation as required.Represent Eirtech professionally at a technical level.Liaison with production and maintenance organisations depending on the project scope.Support the Sales and Technical Sales teams with the preparation of quotations for customers when required.Support the Airworthiness team by assisting with the review of audit findings and propose necessary corrective and preventative action(s).Positively engage in all design activities and engineering meetings.Embrace the company culture "Commitment, Accountability, Integrity and Respect", taking a genuine interest in the development of the overall DOA.CompetenciesStrong understanding of EASA/FAA regulations which include Part 21 & EASA design standards.Strong interpersonal skills and social competence, team player.Strong communications and presentation skills with both internal and external stakeholdersCreative and innovative with respect to the engineering solutions required.Exhibit a high level of personal integrity, thereby maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality under commercial pressure.Ability to multi-task across multiple projects/customers at any one time.Ability to work autonomously and lead his/her projects.RequirementsCurrent Aeronautical Engineering/Engineering Degree or equivalent demonstrable experience.3-5 years of experience in an EASA Part 21J environment (or similar design engineering role).Solid working experience of AutoCAD (or other design software) and MS Office.
