Summary
The General Cashier is responsible for managing the hotel’s cash funds by collecting and reconciling daily cash transactions, preparing bank deposits, and distributing change to various outlets. This role also includes overseeing petty cash, generating daily financial reports for management, and ensuring strict compliance with hotel policies and internal control procedures.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in luxury hospitality environments.
* Proficient in Opera, Micros, Envision, Book4Time, Microsoft Excel, and basic invoicing procedures.
* Strong customer service orientation, with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
* Experience in cash handling and financial accuracy.
* Basic English proficiency (A1–A2) and solid communication skills.
* Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
