Procurement Specialist
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a professional, efficient, and competitive buying process across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchase equipment, materials, and services in accordance with project requirements.
* Manage the full procurement-to-pay cycle from sourcing to invoice resolution.
* Negotiate optimal terms with suppliers to secure timely and quality delivery of goods and services.
* Analyze bids and process purchase orders accordingly.
* Collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain procurement schedules.
* Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and accounts payable.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
* Hold a third-level qualification in supply chain or a related discipline.
* Previous experience with SAP systems is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with construction tools and plant equipment is an asset.
