We are seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join The Wine Cellar team. Reporting directly to the Head Chef of The Wine Cellar you will form an important part of the kitchen team.
Responsibilities
* Work collabaritely with the Head Chef of The Wine Cellar
* Prepare pizzas from our menu and also custom orders
* Preparing appetisers for groups
* Monitor food stock, maintain supplies and place orders as and when required
* Prepare pizza dough, fresh sauces and pizza toppings/accompaniments
* Maintain clean cooking station and equipment
* Supporting The Wine Cellar kitchen team during service
* Other reasonable duties which may be assigned from time to time
The Person
* Previous experience as a chef
* Enthusiastic, friendly, professional and approachable
* Passionate about food and high quality ingredients
* Ability to communicate well with and work harmoniously with other staff and management team
* Flexibility regarding working hours, particularly around weekends and stock delivery days
