We're working with a leading contractor in their search for an experienced Project Manager in Dublin.
Leading the delivery of a Public Works Building Project of €60-70M, controlling the Safety, Cost, Planning, Technical, Programme and Execution of the works of all construction processes, coordinating the work supply chain and project site management.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
6. Reviewing and coordinating construction drawings, specifications and overall Works Requirements (WR).
7. Reviewing material and works specifications including developing Technical Submissions (TS) and Value Engineering Proposals (VEP).
8. Reviewing construction Methodologies and ensuring compliance with specifications.
9. Manage and coordinate subcontractor weekly progress meetings, workshops and follow through with planned actions.
10. Input into the strategic and production planning team, updating progress reports and productivity reports.
11. Reviewing, maintaining and controlling site records and contemporaneous records relating to works, installation, materials and labour.
12. Input into a one team culture and approach to delivering the project to the Time, Cost, Quality and Corporate Responsibility targets and deliverables, acting at all times in the best interests of the Joint Venture.
13. Contributing to the Health & Safety culture on the project, including welfare of the workforce on the site (including JV staff). Showing leadership across the project.
14. Interface & work with the other Senior Management Team.
15. Develop & own the relationship with your counter-part in the Client's project Team.
16. Mentor and assist in developing the highest standard of employees. Promote knowledge sharing and learning for the development of a team able to 'think outside the box'.
17. Take responsibility for personal development and training for technical, Health & Safety to meet both external (legislation etc.) and internal (increased performance etc.) demands.
18. Accountable for minimising the negative impact of operations and maximising opportunities to improve the quality of the built environment for future generations.
19. Monitor Master procurement and design schedule in conjunction with most recent programme
20. Provide commercial input into procurement strategies and evaluations for construction
21. Detail and set out requirements for Prescriptive design
SPECIFIC ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
22. Master degree, Construction Degree or other relevant degree related with the outlined experience requirements.
23. CIOB/IEI membership or a post-graduate specific business certification.
24. 8-10 years' experience working on site based projects, complex projects would be advantageous.
25. Expert in all tools related to digital and visual presentations.
26. Outstanding communication skills both oral and written.
27. Flexible and highly capable to working within a diverse, multi-cultural environment
28. Experience in High Specification Commercial building completion including external façade and Internal Finishes and handover
