Service Advisor - Limerick
We are seeking a full-time Service Advisor to join our team in a growing industry sector.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an initiative-taking professional with excellent customer service skills to provide efficient administrative support and present a friendly face to customers.
The Role:
The successful candidate will report to the Aftersales Manager and be responsible for maintaining a daily diary, welcoming customers, documenting car problems, consulting with mechanics, and providing information about service outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Answering the telephone and booking in customers for services
* Maintaining a daily diary
* Welcoming customers to the showroom and checking their details on arrival
* Documenting the customers' car problems and passing the information to the mechanics
* Consulting with mechanics about repairs
* Answering questions about service outcomes (after consulting with the mechanic if necessary)
* Consulting with customers and mechanics to schedule car check-ups and service appointments
* Giving the customer, an approximate cost and time it will take for repairs to be completed
* Invoicing the service charge and receiving payment
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the motor industry, excellent administration skills, strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills, and be a collaborator.
