Mason Technology is
seeking to recruit a
Field Service Engineer
to work on our
Calibration Team
on a full-time permanent contract.
The position is based in the midlands/Connacht region with a requirement to travel countrywide when necessary.
The successful candidate must have strong technical knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and excellent communication skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the testing and calibration of electro-mechanical instrumentation products and modules in a laboratory or manufacturing setting in order to maintain functionality and accuracy including but not limited to:
PM, Calibration and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of a range of Temperature Control Units including but not limited to : Fridges / Freezers, Ovens, Incubators, Warehouses/Cold-rooms
PM, Calibration and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of temperature probes including but not limited to: PT100, PT****, T Type, K Type, Thermistors.
PM, Calibration, and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of a range of piston operated volume units e.g. pipettes, dispensers and burettes
PM, Calibration and certification to ISO***** or ISO**** of a wide range of Weighing Equipment including but not limited to: Analytical / Semi Micro Balances, Ultra-Micro / Micro Balances, Top Pan Balances, Pit Scales.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Required
A recognised course completed in electrical/instrumentation/mechanical engineering.
Previous experience in a similar technical role is essential.
Experience of working within Quality systems such as ISO, INAB, etc.
Experience of working within Regulatory systems such as FDA, EUP, UKP, IMB, etc.
Ability to fault find and repair laboratory equipment.
A good knowledge of related industry products and tools.
Full clean driving licence is essential.
