The Role
We're seeking a reliable and dedicated Housekeeping Assistant to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This role requires midweek availability and is not suitable for students or those in education due to the consistent weekday schedule requirements.
You'll play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our hotel rooms, public areas, and facilities, ensuring every guest enjoys a comfortable and spotless environment during their stay.
Key Responsibilities
Room Cleaning & Maintenance
Clean and service guest rooms to our high standards, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities
Vacuum, dust, and sanitiSe all surfaces in guest rooms and corridors
Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to housekeeping management
Ensure rooms are inspection-ready and meet our quality standards
Public Area Maintenance
Clean and maintain public areas including lobby, corridors, and common spaces
Maintain cleanliness of restaurant and bar areas as required
Keep housekeeping storage areas organised and well-stocked
Assist with deep cleaning projects and seasonal maintenance tasks
Team Collaboration
Work effectively with housekeeping team members to complete daily room quotas
Communicate effectively with front office regarding room status and guest requests
Follow all health and safety protocols and procedures
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
Full-time availability including midweeks (Monday-Friday availability essential)
Not suitable for students or those in education due to midweek scheduling requirements
Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not essential - training provided
Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards
Physical fitness and ability to work on your feet for extended periods
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team

Respectful and courteous in interactions with guests and colleagues
Adaptable and willing to take on various housekeeping tasks
Understanding of the importance of guest satisfaction
Honest and trustworthy when working in guest areas
Practical Requirements
Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment
Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals (training provided)
Basic English communication skills
Eligible to work in Ireland
