The successful candidate will assist with reservations within the property.
They will be very well presented and demonstrate an excellent telephone manner.
High levels of customer care skills are essential.
They will enjoy working as part of a team and will also have the ability to work on his or her own initiative.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a hotel front office environment.Responsibilities Include:To ensure all bookings, reservation documentation, filing and group contracts are completed.To manage all rates on the various booking channels, yielding rates effectively.Be knowledgeable of upcoming events and manage rates accordingly.Be a sales person for the hotel by upselling and recommending the Hotel facilities and developing a good rapport with clients.Communicate and liase with all hotel departments in a timely and effective manner.Handle all guest concerns relevant to the Reservations Office to the satisfaction of all parties.HotSoft knowledge would be beneficial.The ideal candidate for this position:Must have previous experience in front office role in a hotelBe courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of serviceMust be a team player with the ability to multi taskMust be standards driven and detail orientated, with the desire to progress within the hospitality industryMust possess excellent communication and interpersonal skillsCommunicate fluently in English (written & oral).The nature of our industry means that this role will include a variety of shift & weekend work.Why Work With Us?We offer a variety of roster options which can be tailored to suit a positive work-life balance.
