The Part-Time Bookkeeper is responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration of the company. The role supports the effective operation of the finance function by ensuring that all financial records are maintained accurately, updated in a timely manner, and prepared to an appropriate standard for review by management and external accountants.This is a hands-on role involving routine bookkeeping duties, with additional responsibilities as required to support the efficient operation of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage debtors and creditors on an ongoing basisReconcile supplier and customer invoicesProcess supplier payments accurately and in a timely mannerChase outstanding monies owed to the company in a professional mannerComplete regular bank reconciliationsPrepare weekly sales reports for management reviewAssist with budgeting and basic financial monitoringMaintain organised and accurate financial recordsWork in conjunction with external accountants, providing information and support as requiredCarry out ad hoc administrative or finance-related duties as neededSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience in a bookkeeping or accounts roleStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience using accounting software and spreadsheetsGood organisational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and manage prioritiesClear communication skills, both written and verbalFluent EnglishA knowledge of Xero Accounting softwareJob Types: Part-time, PermanentPay: €24,906.93-€46,264.98 per yearExpected hours: 20 – 25 per weekWork Location: In person
