Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at UPMC Whitfield Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-quality, patient-centred care to patients and their families.
2. Develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team.
3. Liaise with link lecturers from affiliated nurse education departments to develop and maintain UPMC Whitfield Hospital as a recognised learning environment for student nurses.
4. Serve as preceptor to preregistration students, mentor new clinical staff, and support colleagues when needed.
5. Support the unit manager by meeting agreed responsibilities set out by the Unit Manager or Director of Nursing at any time.
