Job Purpose:
Occupli Limited, founded in 1996, is a leading provider of professional services specialising in Health and Safety, Energy, Environmental, and Carbon Emissions. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our busy Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of the accounts payable function, banking and cash management, while also providing support for accounts receivable and payroll where required. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing and posting purchase invoices, credit notes and managing supplier payment allocations.
* Prepare payment runs and ensure timely supplier payments.
* Reconcile supplier accounts and maintain an accurate creditor ledger.
* Manage supplier communications, queries & outstanding issues.
* Preform daily bank postings and reconciliations
* Support payroll processing and accounts receivable functions.
* Assist with month-end close activities and reporting
* Liaise with auditors, Revenue, and clients as required.
* Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, relevant accounting standards and company policies.
* Perform general administrative and ad hoc financial duties as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years finance administration/accounts payable experience preferred
* Good numeracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
* Experience using Sage 50, and Microsoft software desirable
