Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager
The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Manager is to oversee the entire accounts payable process, ensuring all invoices and bills are paid on time.
This role plays a critical part in the financial operations of an organization by effectively managing cash flow, vendor relationships, and system efficiency.
1. Manage the Accounts Payable Process: Oversee the AP cycle, from invoice receipt to making payments.
2. Assist with Month End Closing Process: Ensure proper recording of AP transactions, accruals, and reconciliations in a timely manner.
3. Monitor Outstanding Payables: Manage cash flow accordingly to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities: Managing employee expenses, vendor relationship management, system improvement, reporting and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.
Requirements: Strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, familiarity with ERP systems, ability to analyze financial data, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, negotiation skills, leadership experience in motivating teams, and collaboration with other departments.
Additional Skills: Familiarity with automation tools related to AP, strategic planning, and team leadership.
