Duties
* Translate written documents accurately and efficiently between languages.
* Ensure that translations maintain the original meaning and context of the source Simplified Chinese material.
* Type and edit translated texts to ensure clarity and coherence.
* Communicate effectively with clients or team members to clarify any ambiguities in the source material.
* Review and proofread translations for accuracy and quality before submission.
* Stay updated on industry-specific terminology to enhance translation quality.
* Collaborate with other translators or team members as necessary to meet project deadlines.
Skills
* Proficient in Japanese as native language.
* Excellent translation skills and command of the Simplified Chinese language, with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong typing skills to produce high-quality written content efficiently.
* Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues clearly.
* Bilingual capabilities are advantageous, enhancing the ability to translate across various languages.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
