This role is well suited to an ambitious graduate seeking the next step in their career as a Graduate Electrical/Electronic Engineer. You will be part of a team involved in the design and manufacturing of medical device instruments. You will work on instruments that use multiple technologies to deliver patient results, including mechanical, electronic, software, fluidics, and chemistry, with various sub-assemblies such as sample aspiration, mixing operations, reagent storage and sample handling across instrument sections. You will gain experience across different technologies and how they integrate.
You will be part of the team involved in the design and manufacturing of Medical Device Instruments. You will be working on complex medical device instruments including immunoassay, chemistry, and hematology to serve the needs of laboratories of any size – today and tomorrow.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design and manufacturing of medical device instruments across mechanical, electronic, software, fluidics and chemical subsystems.
* Engage with sub-assemblies such as sample aspiration, mixing operations, reagent storage and handling of samples across instrument sections.
* Work with multi-technology integration to deliver patient results.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or related technical discipline.
* An energetic Electrical/Electronic Graduate Engineer willing to learn.
* Good background knowledge of electromechanical systems.
* Some software experience (C, C#, Python).
* Knowledge of motion control (servo, steppers).
* Strong electronic knowledge (analog, digital, microcontrollers).
* Hardware debugging experience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and multimeters.
* Experience with simulation and modelling tools (SPICE, LTspice or similar).
Personal Qualities
* Problem solving with analytical thinking and structured debugging approach.
* Willingness to learn new tools, technologies and methodologies.
