Our client, a market leader in occupational health services, is seeking an experienced and strategic BDM to join their growing team. This is a client-facing, revenue-focused role where you'll be responsible for deepening relationships, driving growth, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a portfolio of key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations.
* Identify and convert opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services within existing accounts.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and responsive service delivery.
* Monitor industry and client developments to proactively shape account strategies.
* Use CRM tools to track activity, manage pipelines, and maintain up-to-date client communication records.
* Regularly report on performance, KPIs, and forecasts to both internal leadership and clients.
* Act as the central point of contact between clients and internal departments.
* Work closely with senior leadership to align account plans with wider commercial strategy.
Experience required
* 5+ years of Business Development experience, preferably within healthcare or occupational health.
* Strong commercial acumen with a track record of achieving revenue and growth targets.
* Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders in large organisations.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
* Ability to travel to client locations as required.
* A clinical or nursing qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
