The role of a Clinical Support Nurse Manager involves providing oversight, support, direction and training across all aspects of clinical support needs for service users.
Key Responsibilities:
* To ensure operational requirements are met in line with organisational policies and procedures.
* Developing and delivering bespoke clinical supports that enhance the competence of healthcare professionals and support staff.
* Providing support and direction to community staff teams on safe and holistic healthcare assessment processes and clinical risk management strategies.
Requirements:
* Degree in Nursing (ideally RGN) with a strong background in leadership and management.
* Training qualification and/or experience in delivery of training programmes with a focus on clinical compliance and risk management.
* Full NMBI registration and a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the disability sector.
* Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Good knowledge and understanding of current policy and developments at national and sectoral level in relation to Social Care within disability services.
* Ability to apply knowledge of best practice and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Experience in managing regulated residential services for people with disabilities.
