Support Worker/Health Care Assistant Celbridge, Co. Kildare
Terms: 30 hours per week plus sleepovers; initial 1-year fixed term contract
Role Summary
Working as part of a team to supporting adults with intellectual disabilities in a residential setting in the community. We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic person who can work on their own initiative with good common sense and a good sense of humour.
Main Duties
Support Workers must have a full driver licence and be prepared to drive company vehicles.
Support Workers support the persons in all areas of their lives - in their home and community.
Essential Criteria
* Experience in the health care sector
Skills To Support People With Disabilities In The Community
* Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
* Full, clean driver's license
* Available to work residential hours which will include shift work/ sleepovers and weekends as part of an established friendly team.
* Proficient in using standard office IT applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
