A leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Associate to join their growing Circular Economy & Environmental team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Civil or Environmental Engineering professional to take on a senior leadership role delivering complex landfill remediation, waste infrastructure and environmental engineering projects across Ireland.
The successful candidate will have the option of working out of their Dublin or Cork office and will join a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team delivering projects from feasibility and planning stages through to detailed design, procurement and construction support.
Projects
Landfill remediation and restoration projects (€1m - €5m)
Landfill capping, leachate and gas infrastructure schemes (€5m - €15m)
Waste management and circular economy infrastructure projects (€10m+)
Civil infrastructure and site development works
Public sector and Local Authority engineering frameworks
Role
Leading multidisciplinary civil and environmental engineering projects
Managing project delivery from concept through to construction stage
Acting as Project Manager and primary client contact on key projects
Overseeing technical design, procurement and contract administration
Managing project budgets, programmes and commercial delivery
Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and technical staff
Supporting business development and client relationship management
Ensuring projects are delivered in line with regulatory and environmental requirements
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline
10+ years’ experience within engineering consultancy or related sector
