Job Description:
Are you fluent in German and looking to build a rewarding career in the insurance industry — even if you don’t tick every box yet? We're looking for someone proactive, detail-focused, and ready to grow into the role of Underwriter / Claims Assessor.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Review applications and assess claims for life and serious illness products.
* Make accurate and timely decisions, following internal guidelines and standards.
* Explain decisions clearly to customers and advisers in a supportive, professional manner.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to process enhancements.
* Maintain a positive, team-focused attitude and act with integrity.
Your Skillset and Experience
* Fluent German (written and spoken) — essential.
* Experience in underwriting or claims for life/serious illness insurance, or a medical background (e.g., nursing, medical degree), or relevant industry qualification.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Good time management and organizational abilities.
* Willingness to learn and grow is key. We support your development with training and mentorship.
Salary and Benefits
* Competitive base salary depending on experience, approximately €65,000 per year.
* Annual bonus.
Location
* Dublin South.
* Initial training mainly in-office, with hybrid working afterwards.
