As a detail-focused and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, you will play a vital role in providing outstanding care to patients by ensuring their visit is smooth and hassle-free.
Responsibilities:
* Schedule and confirm appointments with sensitivity and precision to ensure minimal disruptions to our patients' schedules.
* Act as the first point of contact for patients and families, delivering a warm and professional welcome that sets the tone for their visit.
* Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls and appointment-related queries efficiently and effectively.
* Update patient records and internal booking systems accurately and promptly.
* Collaborate closely with radiology and clinical staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
* Provide consistent, compassionate support to patients and their families throughout their visit, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
* Support Radiographers and act as a chaperone if required for the benefit of patients.
* Clearly explain examination procedures to patients, alleviating any anxiety or uncertainty they may feel.
Requirements:
* Develop strong relationships with patients through effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Bring relevant experience in medical administration or healthcare to this role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
* Exhibit a calm and caring demeanor when interacting with patients and colleagues alike.
* Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy under pressure to maintain data integrity.
* Embody flexibility and adaptability, working collaboratively with the team to achieve shared goals.
* A background in customer service would be beneficial in this role.
