Tax Manager Ireland Full-time | Ireland | Hybrid/Onsite A growing international organisation is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to take ownership of tax matters relating to its Irish operations and to support cross-border activity across the EU. This is a senior role reporting into the global tax leadership team and will involve working closely with finance, legal and operational stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. The position combines transactional support, tax technical expertise, transfer pricing oversight and the development of scalable tax processes. It is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, complex problem-solving, and working within a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Primary ResponsibilitiesM&A Support & Transactional Tax Lead tax due diligence across acquisitions, disposals and other strategic transactions involving Irish entities Assess cross-border tax implications and contribute to structuring recommendations to support efficient deal outcomes Develop and implement tax planning approaches for new acquisitions, including integration of entities into existing tax processes Advise on potential withholding tax, treaty considerations and indirect tax exposures Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors on contractual tax matters and ensure risks are clearly articulated and managed Transfer Pricing Support the development and maintenance of Group transfer pricing policies and intercompany arrangements Provide input on transfer pricing models relevant to Irish operations and evaluate intercompany transactions across the portfolio Coordinate transfer pricing documentation and ensure compliance in line with Irish requirements and international guidelines Assist with audits, reviews and regulatory queries relating to transfer pricing Monitor updates to global tax frameworks and assess implications for the Groups transfer pricing approach Tax Accounting & Reporting Lead preparation and review of tax provisions for Irish entities as part of quarterly/annual financial reporting Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards for income taxes Support ongoing improvements to tax reporting, including implementation of technology and process automation Work with finance teams to ensure tax accruals and disclosures are accurate and complete Irish Compliance Oversight Oversee Irish tax compliance activities (corporation tax, VAT, and other relevant obligations) carried out by external service providers Review outputs to ensure high quality and timely submission Maintain documentation, identify potential risks, and ensure internal processes reflect best practice Advisory & Research Analyse legislative changes across Ireland, the EU and globally to assess impacts on the business Provide guidance on reorganisations, investment structures and financing arrangements Support operating teams with tax authority enquiries and general tax risk management Oversee indirect tax considerations across the wider business where required Qualifications & Experience Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant or equivalent) 8+ years experience in a tax role within public practice or multinational environments Strong understanding of Irish corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing and international tax concepts Experience supporting M&A transactions and cross-border structuring Excellent critical thinking, analytical and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and collaborate effectively with global stakeholders
