Job Title: Product Owner - Life Sciences Validation Platform Location: Limerick (Hybrid) Salary: *****K DOE + benefits package About the Role Hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a high-performing Product Management team delivering a market-leading digital validation platform to the world's top Life Sciences companies.
You'll work directly with customers and internal squads to capture, refine, and prioritise requirements that turn complex regulated processes into seamless, paperless solutions.
Key Responsibilities Engage directly with Life Sciences customers and account teams to elicit, clarify, and document business requirements.
Transform customer needs into detailed, clear functional specifications and user stories with robust acceptance criteria.
Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing customer commitments with strategic roadmap goals.
Act as the primary requirements voice in Agile delivery squads - sprint planning, stand-ups, grooming, demos.
Lead feature roadmap planning and collaborate on solution design with developers and QC engineers.
Decompose epics, write stories, and ensure documentation stays current throughout the project lifecycle.
Create and present product demos to customers and stakeholders.
Deliver regular metrics and progress reports against business objectives.
Requirements Proven Product Owner experience in a customer-facing, regulated software environment.
Deep expertise in Agile/Scrum practices (writing stories, backlog management, sprint ceremonies).
Strong ability to produce crystal-clear functional specifications and process flows that both customers and dev teams love.
Excellent communication and presentation skills - comfortable running workshops and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Logical, scientific approach to problem-solving and requirements analysis.
Experience in Life Sciences, pharma, biotech, or other highly regulated industries highly desirable.
Understanding of software architecture concepts (data models, process flows, context diagrams) a strong advantage.
Previous development or QA background is a significant plus.
