A well-established organisation delivering projects across the civil, utilities and infrastructure space is expanding its
Health & Safety function
.
Applications are welcomed from Junior, Mid, Senior and Manager Level professionals, with responsibility and salary aligned to experience.
This role will support projects across the business, driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving health, safety and environmental standards on site.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver health & safety training including site inductions, toolbox talks and manual handling
Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance monitoring
Promote accident prevention and environmental protection through practical safety initiatives
Support accident and incident investigations, reporting and analysis
Implement and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and management systems
Assist in the development and review of risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work
Identify site-specific hazards and ensure effective control measures are implemented
Ensure site documentation, statutory records and compliance files are maintained
Support site management and contractors in meeting statutory health & safety requirements
Monitor Health & Safety performance, KPIs and drive continuous improvement
About You
Full, clean driver's licence (essential)
Third-level qualification in Health & Safety (desirable)
Experience within utilities, civils or drainage environments
Open to Junior, Mid-Level, Senior or Management-level professionals
Confident, proactive and capable of working independently and as part of a team
Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage risk and implement effective control measures
Comfortable working with contractors from a range of trades and backgrounds
High standards of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality
