Job Summary
Our organization is currently seeking a Medical Scientist Haematology to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing a clinical laboratory service that supports the clinical needs of our patients.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in developing the Haematology service to meet the clinical needs of our patients and ensuring that the service is consistent with our mission, vision, values and strategic plan.
* Implement operational processes to optimize use of resources and achieve 'best practice' standards.
* Co-operate in evaluating assays, equipment, consumable items and research projects.
* Perform tasks and duties in a manner that ensures compliance with relevant regulations and International standard ISO requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Registration as a Medical Scientist with CORU.
* Provision of evidence of registration by including your CORU certificate with your application.
* Masters level qualification in a relevant area due to this being a specialist role.
* 3 years or more clinical post qualification experience as a Medical Scientist in Haematology.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Flexibility and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Innovative, enthusiastic and self-motivated approach.
Benefits
* Salary from €66,000 - €88,000 per annum based on years of experience.
* Permanent, full-time contracts.
