To strengthen our dedicated insolvency and dispute resolution team, we are recruiting a lawyer based in our Dublin office. The successful candidate will join a well-respected global firm with a growing Irish practice that emphasizes continuous professional development, mentoring, and career growth within a collaborative, team-based environment. The role involves all aspects of commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and contentious insolvency and restructuring.
The Role
We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic associate to join our dynamic IDR team.
In this role, you will advise a diverse, cross-border client base on general commercial litigation, financial services disputes, contentious and non-contentious insolvency, and debt restructuring matters.
Your work will be high-quality, engaging, and challenging. You will have the opportunity to handle a broad range of matters representing clients both in Ireland and globally, with responsibilities including:
* Interpreting, analyzing, and advising clients on relevant case law and legislation;
* Reviewing applicable legislative provisions and advising on Irish insolvency and restructuring issues;
* Managing assigned matters and collaborating with team members both locally and internationally;
* Building and maintaining relationships with clients and industry contacts;
* Staying updated on legal developments;
* Participating in business development activities; and
* Assisting in preparing client advisories and updates, and enhancing industry profile through publications.
The Person
Ideally, candidates will have 0–3 years post-qualification experience in commercial litigation or contentious insolvency from a recognized practice. Exposure to financial services clients or cases is advantageous. We are seeking candidates who demonstrate:
* Commercial awareness and a commitment to understanding clients' businesses and building strong relationships;
* The ability to analyze legislation and provide practical advice;
* Effective communication skills at all levels;
* High motivation and initiative;
* Strong organizational, time management, and financial skills;
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
