Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled R&D Laboratory Coordinator to join our team in County Louth, Ireland.
The successful applicant will play a central role in operational excellence and contribute to the company's carbon reduction strategies.
The R&D Laboratory Coordinator reports to the Head of R&D and is based in the R&D Laboratory.
• Support product development programmes on new low-carbon products.
• Assist the Technical Marketing department in providing technical assistance to customers and monitoring market performance of products.
• Investigate customer queries and complaints.
• Assist the Technical Marketing department in introducing new products to the market.
• Conduct routine specialist testing to support the factory, including mineralogy, burnability, grindability, thermo-gravimetric analyses (TGA), x-ray diffraction (XRD) etc.
• Analyze product and process data to advise on production improvements.
• Ensure adherence to all Health & Safety guidelines pertaining to R&D Laboratory activities.
• Conduct laboratory testing, analyze results, and make recommendations.
• Liaise with external laboratories as required to produce clear, concise, accurate, and reliable reports.
• Work with equipment service providers to plan for servicing/upgrades and replacement of equipment.
• Maintain inventory of laboratory consumables and chemicals.
