What You Will Be Doing as a Software Development Manager?
You will lead a team of engineers to deliver high-quality software while driving engineering best practices across our department. Your role combines people management with technical leadership to ensure we ship products customers love.
Responsible for:
- Leading and developing a team of 4-7 software engineers through coaching and mentorship.
- Setting up and driving engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, and CI/CD.
- Running Scrum and Agile processes to hit sprint goals and improve team delivery.
- Working with Product teams and stakeholders to turn tech challenges into customer wins.
- Managing the complete software development process from idea to production support.
Your profile
- 3+ years successfully managing engineering teams (4-7 people) with strong people management skills.
- Proven experience implementing software engineering best practices in production environments.
- Hands-on technical skills with current coding abilities and strategic thinking.
- Track record improving team productivity, delivery metrics, and engineering results.
- Experience with CI/CD tools, automated testing, and modern development workflows.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Background in performance management, team development, and individual coaching.
