A well-established and growing organisation is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to support continued expansion and development. This is a newly created role following recent investment and growth, offering an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will oversee the day-to-day finance function, manage a small finance team, and ensure high-quality financial reporting, robust financial controls, and efficient financial processes. The role will play a key part in supporting strategic decision-making and optimising financial performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee all transactional finance functions across the business and associated entities
2. Manage working capital and cashflow effectively
3. Prepare monthly management accounts and annual financial statements in line with reporting deadlines
4. Maintain an effective credit control function
5. Optimise the functionality and efficiencies of a new accounting system (Sage Intacct)
6. Support the Finance Director in developing reporting and insights using Sage Intacct and Power BI
7. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all tax returns and payments
8. Prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit
9. Maintain a strong framework and culture of financial control
10. Undertake other finance-related duties as required
Essential Criteria
· Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Strong IT skills, with advanced Excel capability
· Ability to organise, prioritise, and meet deadlines
· Excellent attention to detail

Desirable Criteria
· Experience with Sage accounting software and Power BI
· Experience supporting or delivering major systems implementation projects
· Familiarity with Opera, Accura, or similar systems
