Pharmacovigilance Leadership Opportunity
We seek an accomplished professional to drive our pharmacovigilance team forward. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacovigilance, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic direction and guidance to ensure departmental growth and success
* Evaluate and maintain effective pharmacovigilance systems
* Serve as an internal and external subject matter expert for pharmacovigilance
* Prepare for and attend senior leadership meetings to present team information and contribute to company strategy
* Bolster and manage a team to delegate responsibilities and provide motivation to drive maximum performance
* Develop functional goals and objectives, then monitor progress
* Direct and control the work and resources of the team and ensure the recruitment and retention of required numbers and types of well-motivated, trained, and developed staff
* Cultivate team collaboration and a highly supportive, diverse, and inclusive culture
* Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
* Foster collaboration within all companies and subsidiaries
* Represent the organization in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and other key contacts to secure effective contract terms
Requirements:
* Demonstrated industry experience
* Relevant degree in life sciences or healthcare
* Effective people management skills including organizational agility
* Clear communication and leadership
* Understanding of finance Experience managing budgets, driving performance, and contributing to commercial decision-making
* Desirable: Eligibility to be named as a Qualified Person Pharmacovigilance
