DublinProject Type: Residential Developments (Housing / Apartments)Employment Type: Full-time, Site-BasedRole OverviewWe are seeking a Site-Based Engineer to join our residential construction team on active projects in Swords. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting out, quality control, and supporting site management to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, and in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements.This role offers long-term, local work on residential developments with strong progression opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting out for foundations, substructure, superstructure, and external worksChecking drawings, levels, and dimensions to ensure accuracy of constructionCoordinating engineering activities with site management and subcontractorsEnsuring works are carried out in compliance with drawings, specifications, and building regulationsAssisting with inspections, quality checks, snagging, and handover processesMaintaining accurate site records, as-built information, and quality documentationRaising RFIs and liaising with design teams where requiredSupporting health & safety compliance on siteMonitoring progress and reporting any issues affecting programme or qualityRequirementsDegree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related discipline1–4+ years' experience in a Site Engineer role (residential experience advantageous)Strong setting-out skills using Total Station and GPSKnowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction standardsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced site environmentStrong communication and organisational skillsFull, clean driving licenceDesirableExperience working on housing or apartment schemesFamiliarity with BCAR processes and certificationExperience working with main contractors or residential developersWhat's on OfferSite-based role on residential projects in SwordsCompetitive salary and benefits packageStable pipeline of local residential workCareer progression within a growing construction team
