About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals looking to advance their careers in health and safety.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering departmental health and safety plans and ensuring compliance with legislation, regulatory standards and ISO requirements.
* Lead the delivery of departmental Health and Safety action plans in line with the wider safety strategy
* Provide support and guidance to functional leaders across offices, depots, terminals and customer locations
* Carry out audits, inspections, and safety reviews across all locations and ensure effective reporting and follow-up of non-conformances
This includes managing and supporting incident investigations, analysing root causes and implementing corrective actions. You will also maintain and update HSE data systems, ensuring all relevant safety documentation is current and compliant.
Additionally, you will develop and deliver health and safety training programmes, including behavioural safety initiatives. You will support the creation and review of procedures, manuals and safety plans across the business, working with cross-functional teams to ensure contractor compliance and stakeholder alignment.
The ideal candidate will have experience within a similar H&S role and relevant health and safety qualifications (NEBOSH, etc). They should also have experience within the Oil/Gas/Energy industry and knowledge of current HSE Legislation.
Key skills include report writing, auditing, RAMS, IT and numeracy skills (MS Office), and good communication skills. A full clean driving license is also required.
