We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Operations & Onboarding Executive to support the employee lifecycle across multiple European jurisdictions, with a particular focus on onboarding, visa coordination, and HR operations.
This role will play a key part in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, maintaining compliance with employment legislation, and supporting HR systems and processes.
The successful candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and broader HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle
Manage end-to-end onboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all new hires
Liaise with hiring managers to coordinate onboarding plans, induction schedules, and documentation
Support full employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
Maintain regular communication with new hires to ensure successful integration into the organisation
Visa & Immigration Support
Coordinate visa and work permit processes for employees across multiple European countries
Liaise with external immigration advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely processing
Track visa expiry dates and ensure compliance with local immigration requirements
Provide guidance to employees and managers on visa-related processes and documentation
HR Operations & Administration
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files
Prepare contracts of employment and manage issuance and follow-up
Manage the offer process and respond to candidate queries
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and employment legislation across Europe
Support system administration and configuration of the in-house HR system (including platforms such as SuccessFactors, where applicable)
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure HR practices comply with relevant employment laws and internal policies across multiple jurisdictions
Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and metrics as required
Support audits and ensure documentation is maintained to a high standard
Projects & Continuous Improvement
Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives
Contribute to enhancing HR systems, workflows, and employee experience
Represent HR in administrative and cross-functional meetings as required
Skills & Experience
Essential
Third-level qualification in Business, Human Resources, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR operations or generalist role
Strong knowledge of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proficient IT skills, including intermediate-level MS Word and Excel
Desirable
Experience supporting visa and immigration processes across Europe
CIPD diploma or certification
Familiarity with HR systems such as SuccessFactors
Experience in database management and HR reporting
Previous experience in the construction industry
