We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Digital Technology Project Manager to lead and manage complex, cross‑functional projects involving both software development and hardware infrastructure where applicable.The role requires a dynamic leader who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, delivering high‑impact solutions that align with Client's IT programme goals.The role involves extensive collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components. The candidate will manage risks, oversee the entire project lifecycle from initial planning to final delivery, and provide proactive risk mitigation to safeguard outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management – Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders; develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and progress reports; work closely with the Senior IT Programme Manager to ensure adherence to governance frameworks and methodologies.Leadership & Team Management – Set clear expectations with stakeholders, provide regular feedback, and engage team members to maintain motivation and alignment; foster a collaborative environment encouraging innovation and continuous improvement; identify, assess, and manage project risks, develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans, and implement corrective actions as needed.Stakeholder Engagement – Act as primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership; facilitate regular status updates, meetings, and report on progress, risks, and recommendations.Technical Oversight – Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate seamless integration and compatibility between software and hardware systems; oversee technical design reviews, implementation plans, and testing activities; ensure compliance with Client's IT standards, security policies, and best practices.QualificationsExperience – Grade: Principal Consultant / Senior Specialist / Engineering Grade 1 / Assistant Principal, or 10+ years of experience; 5+ years of IT Project Management; extensive experience leading system upgrades, cloud migrations, network deployments, and enterprise software rollouts.Skills – Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies; Project Management certifications (essential) such as PMP or PRINCE2; ITIL certification or knowledge of IT service management processes is a plus; exceptional leadership, decision‑making, and stakeholder management; strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey complex information to both technical and non‑technical audiences; adept at balancing competing priorities and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Formal Education Qualifications – Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in relevant subject area is preferred; Level 9 Master’s in relevant field would be advantageous.Turner & Townsend is an equal opportunity employer.
