Project Leadership Role

Are you a skilled project manager looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking an experienced Project Controller to join our team and lead the delivery of allocated projects.

* The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all necessary measures are taken to carry out works in a safe manner, while also managing project installations and dismantles within planned costs and agreed timescales.
* A key aspect of this role is to liaise with other project teams to ensure clear communication and consistency in approach.
* You will also be responsible for ensuring that the necessary resources, including labour allocation, materials and all sub-contract requirements, are in place and managed.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with all appropriate health and safety regulations, as well as good practice.
2. Manage project installations and dismantles, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
3. Liaise with other project teams to ensure clear communication and consistency in approach.
4. Provide pre-order support to commercial staff to minimize risks for post-order project delivery.
5. Ensure that the necessary resources are in place and managed effectively.
6. Manage correspondence, documentation and information relating to project delivery, in accordance with company standards.
7. Foster and develop sound customer relationships through effective communication.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, codes of practice and industry guidelines.
9. Encourage and maintain a culture of operational excellence by implementing improvement techniques and strategies.
10. Build relationships with commercial, service and projects teams to deliver projects on time and on budget.

Requirements:

* Proven experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong technical knowledge, including building regulations, HTMs, HBNs and CDM.
* Demonstrable knowledge and experience of financial control, including negotiation of terms and final accounts.
* Competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and Project.
* Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams on complex/high value building projects.
