Sourcing Role Overview
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic sourcing of products, equipment, and services locally and globally.
* Negotiation of pricing, deals, contracts, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
* Identifying opportunities to reduce sourcing costs, build on current product offerings, and create additional value for the customer base.
* Conducting regular market and spend analysis to drive cost savings and supplier improvements.
* Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality & cost-effective solutions.
* Partnering with key internal stakeholders to develop business and maximise opportunities.
* Managing tender enquiries and negotiation of contracts.
Requirements:
* A qualification or relevant industry-related experience, preferably in procurement, supply chain or sourcing.
* A proven track record of supplier evaluation, negotiation & selection.
* Strong financial acumen, organisational & administration skills.
* The ability to absorb technical information about products.
* Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
* Good computer skills (MS Office), SAP ERP experience is highly desirable.
* A flexible & proactive attitude with an ability to think strategically.
* The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
