We provide private residential, convalescent, and rehabilitative services across multiple locations, and we are now seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our team caring for elderly residents.
What We're Looking For
Essential
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
A genuine passion for caring for older persons
Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (formerly An Bord Altranais)
Team-oriented approach
Qualified 1st level nurse
Desirable
Experience working with older persons or relevant care settings
Knowledge of Health Information and Quality Authority standards
Previous supervisory experience
Your Key Responsibilities
Resident Care
Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care
Develop and maintain individualised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, escalating concerns when necessary
Administer medications in line with best practice and regulatory guidelines
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
Communication & Teamwork
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team
Participate in meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
Provide support and guidance to colleagues when required
Health & Safety
Promote and maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
Follow all health & safety, infection control, and emergency procedures
Report incidents, hazards, or concerns promptly
General Duties
Adhere to all professional and regulatory standards
Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the nursing home
