Manley has an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and energetic Business Development & Bid Manager to join our team based in Duleek.
Manley consists of the contracting division, modular construction and timber frame. We are currently looking for a Business Development professional to join our Management Team to enhance our sales, marketing strategy and overall business procurement efforts. The successful applicant will report directly to the senior directors.
Key responsibilities:
* Identify and pursue possible leads and opportunities in the public and private sectors through established and new mediums.
* Management and Preparation of bid submissions both private and public
* Representing the company in a highly professional manner where required.
* Liaise with external designers, photographers, web agents and printers.
* Continual development and quality control of pre-qualification and tender submission documentation.
* Maintenance of the business development archive and database
* Opening up new business opportunities with industry professional and clients
* Coordination and production of targeted expression of interest submissions for projects
Candidate profile:
* 3rd level Qualification marketing/ business/ construction
* Relevant industry experience and knowledge
* 3 to 5 yr experience in a similar role within the construction or related industry.
* Experience in public procurement and pre-qualification production
* Digital Marketing Proficiency and Strong IT skills
* Strong written and graphical presentation skills
* Proactive and hardworking person willing to work to tight deadlines
* Highly organised person with the ability to manage numerous tasks at any given time.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to use these skills in a sales and marketing role
* Bid Management experience
* Innovative thinking to develop unique marketing campaigns and solutions that differentiate the company from competitors.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and industry associations
Salary : The salary offered will be based on the candidate's level of experience and is open to discussion.
