I am seeking a Deputy Manager for my client in Carlow to join their leadership team within a children’s residential service in Carlow.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified Social Care professional to progress into a leadership role within a child-centred, trauma-informed residential environment supporting children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the Service Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the house, ensure high standards of care delivery, and provide leadership and guidance to the wider care team.

Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Level 7 qualification in Social Care or a relevant equivalent qualification suitable for CORU
CORU registration or proof of application in process
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children and young people in a social care setting
Experience supporting young people presenting with challenging behaviours and complex needs
Strong understanding of trauma-informed practice and behaviour management approaches
Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Full clean manual driving licence valid in Ireland
Salary €45 - €50K DOE
20 Days annual leave
Deputy Manager full time role is 40 hours
The roster is rolling over 6-8 weeks and the lines are mainly 2 x 24hrs.
