Brand Account Manager (Retail)Location: Dublin / Cork / LondonType: Full-time

About Us:

We're a bold, ambitious B Corp period care startup on a mission to shake up the category with sustainable products people actually want to talk about. We're growing fast and, as we scale, we're looking for a highly driven, commercially minded Brand Account Manager who can take ownership of our retail expansion strategy from day one.

The Role:

As our first Retail Account Manager, you'll be responsible for driving our brand's entry into retail - building relationships, pitching to buyers, securing listings, and driving in-store performance. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role where you'll shape our entire retail function and act as the primary point of contact for our partners.

You'll combine sales, account management, and retail marketing expertise to build a scalable, high-performing retail channel.

Key Responsibilities:

Retail Expansion & Business Development

* Identify high-potential retail partners across grocery, pharmacy, lifestyle, specialty and emerging channels.
* Develop compelling pitches and present our brand and products to retail buyers.
* Own the full sales lifecycle - from outreach and introductions through to negotiation and contract closure.
* Secure product listings, negotiate terms, and drive strong launch plans.

Account & Relationship Management

* Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with retail buyers and category managers.
* Become the primary point of contact for all retail partners, ensuring world-class communication and responsiveness.
* Lead quarterly business reviews, performance analysis, and category management discussions.
* Manage order replenishment, demand planning, and stock forecasting with internal operations.

Retail Sales & Performance

* Monitor sales performance across all accounts and take proactive action to improve velocity.
* Execute in-store initiatives that drive awareness and conversion, including training, sampling, merchandising and POS placement.
* Work closely with field teams or merchandising partners (if applicable).
* Develop promotional calendars and evaluate their impact.

Retail Marketing & Activation

* Build and implement a retail marketing strategy aligned with brand and commercial goals.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to create retailer-specific campaigns, POS assets, and promotional plans.
* Develop playbooks for launches, seasonal promotions, and ongoing brand support.
* Ensure clear brand representation across all retailer touchpoints and digital platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Work closely with Operations to ensure seamless supply and fulfilment.
* Partner with Finance on forecasting, pricing, trade spend, and margin analysis.
* Collaborate with Product & Marketing to bring insights from the retail environment back into the business.
* Build and optimise internal processes for retail reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking.

About You - Skills & Experience:

Essential

* 4+ years in retail, FMCG, CPG, or beverage/consumer goods sales roles.
* Demonstrated success pitching to and securing listings with major retailers.
* Strong network of buyer and category manager relationships (bonus).
* Proven track record of driving retail sales performance and managing key accounts.
* Understanding of retail marketing levers including trade spend, promotions, and POS.
* Excellent communication, storytelling, and negotiation skills.
* Highly data-driven with strong commercial acumen.
* Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, scrappy, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity.

Nice to Have

* Experience working in a high-growth or early-stage startup.
* Experience launching a brand into retail for the first time.
* Familiarity with health, wellness, lifestyle or personal care categories.
* Experience with forecasting, CRM tools, and retail analytics.
